Hamilton Outdoor Engagement Session – Lindsay and Taylor

Hamilton outdoor engagement session by

I can’t remember the first time I met Taylor – likely back in the 10th or 11th grade, possibly on one of the canoe trips we participated in as part of the outdoor club at our local high school, or perhaps snowboarding at the local ski hill (elevation likely less than 100m).  He is an easy-going, loyal, hard-working kind of guy and I can’t be happier that he found Lindsay – together they make an amazing couple!

This is their story…

Our first location was the Dundas Conservation Area (will link to it at the bottom of the post), a place that never fails to disappoint.

When Lindsay asked if they could bring along their newest family addition – Gary – how could I say no?  While making the day  much more interesting, I’m pretty sure I wound up with at least as many pictures of their puppy as I did of them.

Just one of those lucky times when you happen to have cowboy boots, a mossy log and very green nature!

I wish I could take credit for this idea, but I can’t – it was all Lindsay.  Can’t wait to see how many amazing DIY items are at their wedding!

Next we moved next door to Webster’s Falls, another location I have shot at a number of times.  We were definitely surprised to find a fence up blocking the way to the path that leads to the base of the falls.  Apparently, its closed for a number of years for restoration purposes.  After scrambling over a chest high fence (not an easy task), we managed to find a way down.  Best part was the base was virtually devoid of the usual crowd of people, the only reason I was able to manage this shot…

What more can I say – these guys are great!

Thanks for reading!

Till next time,

Chris
