After our chilly winter engagement session at Blue Mountain, I was super excited to shoot with these guys during warmer weather. We started the session at High Park and then moved to Polson Pier for some great sunset shots with the Toronto skyline as a backdrop. Hope you enjoy!
Although we get along well with all the couples we partner with, there are occasional ones that really “click”. Morsel and James are one of those couples. We share a ton of common interests and they are overall just really great people. When they suggested a winter engagement session at Blue Mountain in Collingwood, Ontario, of course I had to say yes! Little did we know it would be -20 on the day we had booked the session. Being brave souls, we decided to attempt it anyway. Lesson learned: in -20 you can only really stay outside for 15-20 minutes at a time unless you are bundled up like an Eskimo (really not conducive to great photos). Either way, we wound up with some great shots and agreed to do a session in warmer weather once we had thawed out a bit. Hope you enjoy!
Back in the middle of January, we were very fortunate that one of our warm spells happened to fall on the exact weekend Jessica and Chris had scheduled a visit from Australia to visit their family in Ontario. With 15 degree weather, what better time to head over to Toronto’s High Park for an engagement session!
Surprisingly, it was my first time ever shooting at High Park. It is beautiful and also very versatile – they even have a zoo! Pair a great location with a couple that is naturally expressive, affectionate and very much in love and it becomes very hard to take bad photos.
This is their story…
Absolutely loved spending the day with these two – can’t wait to do it again on their wedding!
Till next time,
