I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was when Lindsay asked me to shoot her daughter Henley’s one year cake smash session. I mean, what’s better than capturing the cutest one year old I have ever met as she dives into her very own cake? I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do. P.s. sorry there are so many, it was hard to pick!
One of the last engagement sessions before the days turned cold and all the leaves fell from the trees, we started at Tiffany falls in Hamilton and then went to one of my favourite nature spots in Dundas. It was so much fun incorporating some of the things that are most important to them in their lives (their dog and a love of the outdoors). Thanks to Tegan and David for travelling all the way from London for the session! Can’t wait to see you guys again on your wedding day!
This was by far one of the best engagement sessions we have ever had – so excited to finally share it! Originally we were planning to shoot some sunrise photos down by Harbourfront, but given excessive traffic at 7 AM on a Sunday, finally realized that there was a marathon scheduled for that morning. Quickly making the switch in location to the Distillery District and skirting around the security guard, we were able to get a number of amazing shots (even some in the parking garage). Second location was the rainbow tunnel off the DVP, a great spot to capture the fall colours! Hope you enjoy!
Waking up this chilly morning with frost on my windshield and the winter just around the corner, I found myself wishing I was back with these great people on a nice warm summer evening in Hamilton. We started the session off at Dundurn Castle, moving to Albion falls to get some unique waterfall shots later in the evening. Had so much fun with these guys – they couldn’t stop smiling! Can’t wait to see you both again on your wedding
If you are an avid golfer, or just appreciate an incredible view, you have to visit the Lookout Point Country Club. Located off the beaten path somewhere near St. Catharines and Niagara, this venue sits high up on the local terrain and offers a stunning view of the valley below. Unfortunately, most of it was obscured by the dreary rain clouds that plagued us the morning of the wedding. Not to be discouraged, I assured Leahann that luck would be on our side and the clouds would part long enough for us to get some shots later on during the day. Sure enough, the rain stopped long enough for us to run out and snap a few quick photos. Fortunately, the contrast between dreary dark skies and green hills provided some incredible opportunities to capture the love Leahann and Mike share for each other. We feel so priveleged to have been given the opportunity to spend the time with their extended families on this incredible day! Hope you enjoy a couple of our favourite images…
Hayden and John are one of those magical couples that just click with each other in a way that translates very naturally in photos. If that’s not enough, they are both amazing people who are so much fun to work with! Hope you enjoy!
We first met Jaye and Scott at the Starbucks on Locke St. in Hamilton and felt instantly comfortable and at home with them. After their waterfall engagement session and hearing about all the details Jaye (and maybe Scott) had planned for their wedding, I knew it would be stunning. Despite it being one of the hottest days of the summer, the venue was beautiful, the food amazing and most importantly, the people were incredible. Many thanks to Jessica Lee from Hello Baked for being a great second for the day. Hope you enjoy some of the photos from their day!
Where do I even begin? What can be more perfect than a destination wedding in Costa Rica at the fabulous Riu Palace followed up by a sunset trash the dress session with an amazing couple. Many thanks to Jessica Lee from Hello Baked Designer Cookies for helping out with this session!
To start, a shot of the lovely couple at the beginning of the shoot…
After our chilly winter engagement session at Blue Mountain, I was super excited to shoot with these guys during warmer weather. We started the session at High Park and then moved to Polson Pier for some great sunset shots with the Toronto skyline as a backdrop. Hope you enjoy!
